13 in 2013

So recently another blogger and friend, Nikki, from Slow is the New Fast sent me a link to Marathon Mom's "13 in 2013" challenge. I pondered it for really only a moment, I mean my plan was to do ten half marathons this year so why not another three right? Thirteen is also my lucky number so I feel like it was meant to be. Here are the races I have planned so far, I'm only one short at the moment, can't decide what to add, if you have any suggestions let me know! At anytime if you'd like to see what races I've completed or that I have coming up, check out the "Races" tab at the top of the blog.

1. Running from an Angel Half Marathon- Boulder City, NV - January 12, 2013

2. Tinkerbell Half Marathon - Disneyland, CA - January 20, 2013

3. Vancouver First Half 1/2 Marathon - Vancouver, BC - February 10, 2013

4. Fort Langley Historic Half Marathon - Fort Langley, BC - February 17, 2013

5. New York Half Marathon - Manhatten, NY - March 17, 2013

6. BMO Half Marathon - Vancouver, BC - May 5, 2013

7. Run for Water Half Marathon - Abbotsford, BC - May 26, 2013

8. Whistler Half Marathon - Whistler, BC - June 1, 2013 (have not registered yet)

9. Scotiabank Half Marathon - Vancouver, BC - June 23, 2013

10. Lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon - Vancouver, BC - August 10, 2013 (have not registered yet)

11. Surrey International World Music Half Marathon - Surrey, BC - September 29, 2013

12. Disneyworld Wine & Dine Half Marathon - Orlando, FL - November 2013

Well here we are less than 48 hours away from our departure and I have a sore throat, sigh... I was really hoping to get a short run in tonight but I'm going to wait and see how things go as the day progresses. I'd rather not take any chances before Saturday, I'm sort of hoping one of the two races on this trip will be a new PR for me. Crossing my fingers and loading up on Cold FX and vitamin C!
