OUr lists are very similar and yep, way different than what I'd listen to in the car! WEll, except for on my way to a big run, I like to listen to my running tunes on the drive to get me pumped up.
ReplyDeleteI do that too, gotta wake yourself up so early in the morning!
DeleteYes! These are all great songs! I love it! I was actually thinking about throwing my half marathon playlist on my blog too. So gooood job! Great minds think a like! Have you heard Radioactive by Imagine Dragons or I Take a Walk by Passion Pit? Those are two that I can think of on my list :)
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely check those out, thanks! And look forward to seeing the rest of your playlist :)
DeleteSame here! I listen to The Highway on Sirius (Country) or in my other car that doesn't have sirius I have the local country station on. My running playlist has everything from country, to classic rock, to rap. I am going to have to check out some of those on your list!
ReplyDeleteI love Sirius, my free subscription ended today, so sad :(
DeleteMy running music is very different from my regular taste in music as well. Partly because a lot of the music I love is a bit of a downer and would encourage me to just kind of drag myself along : )
ReplyDeleteYea same, my regular music is way to mellow for running.
DeleteI will definitely have to go on a downloading spree soon- I see a lot of artists I love but songs I dont think I have heard! what an awesome list :) stopping from the link up and following you
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking in! On my way to your blog :)
Deletedid you know you are a noreply blogger? so i cant respond to your nice comments by email :( thanks for coming to visit me though :)
DeleteThis is a GREAT list! We have similar tastes in music :) I definitely need to add Bittersweet Symphony back to my playlist, I bet that would be a great song to run to!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bittersweet Symphony has been on my playlist for FOREVER, you definitely need to add it.
DeleteGreat picks!! I agree--I have totally different criteria for running songs than for the music I'd listen to otherwise. A strong beat is really important for me!
ReplyDeleteI need new music for Spring and this is a great list of songs!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I have several of these on mine!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this (last year), Krista! I just helped me revive my playlist :) Needed to get rid of the Sharon, Lois & Bram. Hahaha!
