Electrolyte enhanced drink tabs to keep you hydrated! When I originally looked into Nuun I thought it was just to take along as race fuel but I have since found that I love drinking it ALL the time. It's a nice way to keep myself drinking lots of water and make it less "boring". It's helped me stay away from sugary drinks like pop/juice. Nuun products do not contain any sugar and they are less than 8 calories per tab, they are also gluten-free!

What do I think of Nuun?
I definitely approve of Nuun, mostly for keeping me hydrated on a daily basis, though I do take it along on some of my runs as well. My favorite flavor is lemonade, and Griffin's favorite is watermelon. The cherry limeade (caffeine enhanced) is yummy too, especially when it's ice cold! I've even read about other bloggers/twitter friends freezing it and drinking it in "slushy" form, now that sounds delicious especially after a hot summer run! I keep a tube of tablets in my purse for when I'm out and I need to spice up my water at a restaurant or refill my bottle after CrossFit, it's very convenient that way. Nuun has become a part of my pre-race routine and really my every day routine.

ReplyDeleteI love Nuun. I recently received some samples in a StrideBox and used them to train and run the BMO Vancouver 1/2 marathon. Now I use it on all my long runs! I would love to try our some new flavours (and the slushy version sounds like a great (and healthy) post-run treat!
