Goodbye August, hello Marathon month!

The last couple of weeks of August were busy for us, so here's an update!

We've been settling into our new house...

I love my blue kitchen!

Two weeks ago I ran 29km with some friends and we stopped for a scone along the way! Perhaps a new tradition for any run over 25km...

My brother turned 5 and we went on a ride on a sea plane with my family in Whistler to celebrate!

I ran 32km pretty much solo (my longest run so far), it was a beautiful day but incredibly challenging.
Yup... you read that right, the route is named "Oh My God".

I really didn't know if I'd make it but my twitter pals kept me going!

My Grandpa came for a visit from Edmonton. Our first house guest was a huge help and lots of fun to visit with.

And now it's finally back to normal after a whole month of change. And there's only 22 days until the marathon... WHOA!

  1. Scones sound like a good tradition. I made scones for the first time recently - a fun experience!
