Injinji Review & Giveaway

So it's finally Marathon week and this is my 2nd giveaway of 3 to celebrate my 1st FULL marathon taking place in 6 days, whoa!

I was approached recently to try out some Injinji toesocks. I had read about them on other blogs but had never tried them personally. Considering I began having some issues with blisters a couple of months ago mid-marathon training, I was more than willing to try out some new socks!

I was sent 3 different pairs: original weight, medium weight, and light weight. I've found that I prefer the light weight or the original weight, but they are all very comfortable.

They come in several different colors and are available in no-show or mini crew. I've only tried the mini crew so far but plan on ordering some no-show soon. I'm totally in love with these socks, all my blister issues have since ceased.
Injinji carries several different types of socks for running, trails, yoga, and they even have some compression socks which I can't wait to try!

There's no doubt that I will be wearing these on marathon day and for all my future runs! In honor of finding my new favorite socks I'm hosting a giveaway! The winner will have their choice of one pair of running socks ($12-$14) subject to availability. You can check out the options here: http://www.injinji.com/

a Rafflecopter giveaway

-Please note that Injinji only provided me with the socks and is not compensating me for this review, it is solely based on my own experience with the product-

  1. I've been lucky that I don't really get blisters from running, but I do have to watch out for black toenails. I've tried Injinji socks in the past and I like them, but I think I have an extra long big toe because I got holes in the toe after only a few uses.

  2. I've definitely had some blisters from running. Weirdly enough, they only ever pop up on my big toes. I have never tried these kinds of socks before, but I think it would be interesting to see if they help my blistery toes during training runs :)

  3. I have had only one blister, in this first year of running - and that was from improper lacing, I believe! But I love trying (and winning) new things, so bring on the toe socks!

  9. A few years back when I was new to distance running I bought a pair of socks on a recommendation from a local shoe store and ended up getting a hellacious blister on my forefoot. It happened a short time before my first marathon. As luck would have it, my son had to see a podiatrist so while we were there I asked the doctor about it. His brother was a marathon runner so he quickly obliged, hooked me up and by the time I hit the start line I was good to go. I haven't worn those socks since. I have worn Injinji and am a big fan, haven't blistered since!

  15. I've been lucky and never had blisters. I hear great things about these socks though and would love to try them. My toes get minds of their own when I run. Maybe they just need a little freedom!

  17. When I ran my last 5k, I developed a blister on my right heel about halfway through. I had to hobble through the rest of the race. I feared I was going to have to dump my favorite running shoes. But then I won some Injinji socks in a giveaway! I was skeptical because I'd never been a fan of toe socks. But lo and behold...not only were they super comfy...they came just high enough up on the back of my heel that I never have to worry about blisters again! I absolutely love these socks and swear by them! Now if I could just win about 12 more pair I'd be set! :) Thanks for the giveaway!

    1. I just want to say I am also excited, sorry my daughter is struggling w/ blister's for the 1st time so this no blister thing caught my eye, and she doesn't like camel skin, or any other usual blister protection! Teenagers!

  21. I used to have problems with blisters, but after finding the right shoes for me I've been enjoying happy blister free feet :) I use Injinji socks for running, they've even managed to push my ProCompression to the side (still use them for recovery though) :)
