Originally I admit I was doing this run because I wanted to be able to complete the half-marathon distance, and if it went to a great cause then so-be-it. But things have changed, and it isn't about me anymore, I want to see an end to this disease in my lifetime and the only way I know how to do that right now is to raise money.
I hadn't known Gail for very long, but in the little time I spent with her I could tell that she was a special lady and that she lived every moment of life to the fullest. Nobody deserves what she had to go through because of this disease.
Today I will be running 15km not for me but for Gail. Please sponsor me so this doesn't have to happen to anyone else.
