10 hours...

In a little more than 10 hours I will be standing in my corral getting ready to start the race of a lifetime and oh boy am I nervous, maybe the most nervous I've ever been before a race...
Why?

1. We are in New York City! It's so exciting to be here but also super overwhelming. We have already gotten lost a few times and it's near impossible to hail a cab and I have to do that at 6:15 am tomorrow morning...

2. I am still sick and I have an ear infection. Shortly into our first morning here I began to panic about the aching in my ear and neck so we found a doctor here and got a prescription for some antibiotics. Thank goodness it doesn't hurt as much anymore.

3. It's snowing.
I know it is technically winter in NYC, and I knew this was a possibility but I sort of ignored that fact and well now we are mere hours away and I'm sort of dreading waking up to the freezing cold morning.

I know I can do this but I'm just hoping everything works out.

I have really limited access to blogging and the Internet so if you'd like to find out how my race went in the short term you can track me live on the free NYC Half app or you can also check out my twitter tomorrow.
