$39.99/ for one set (2 Knuckle Lights)
Product Description:
According to their website it is the first and only light designed to be worn on your hands. Each light puts out 45 lumens. They have adjustable straps and 3 light settings (High, Low, & Blinking).
Product Performance:
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel running with something on my hands as I tried one of the handheld water bottles once and I hated running with it. However, I really enjoyed wearing the Knuckle Lights. They weren't heavy and I appreciated that I didn't have to reach up to adjust my light position like I normally would have to with a headlamp. If I wanted to look ahead or at something on the ground I literally just moved the position of my hand, so simple. As a runner, I definitely think I could get away with just the Knuckle Lights, normally I would wear a headlamp and a light on my fuel belt but I didn't wear those tonight. Knuckle Lights are VERY bright, there was no question that it made a difference seeing the area in front of me and I was definitely recognizable to cars and other people. I also liked how I was able to adjust the Knuckle Lights to different spots on my hand and it was pretty much comfortable in every position.
Conclusion:
All in all these are a great product and I will be using them again. They would be great for pretty much any runner or walker. I will even take mine out to walk the dog.

ReplyDeleteKnuckle Lights could definately be worth trying out.
ReplyDeleteMost of my running is in the dark, since I have kids to take care of all day! These would be great to use for those evening runs (and even the can't-run-because-I'm-pregnant walks...)
ReplyDeleteThis is would great tool for me as well as I run after work.
ReplyDeleteThese would be great for my 3 day 60 mile breast cancer walk. Awesome
ReplyDeleteThese would be fun to try out!! Running in the dark freaks me out--this could help!
ReplyDeleteI don't usually run in the dark (except Reach the Beach) because I'm worried about cars seeing me. Knuckle lights would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteThese look interesting. Do they light up the ground well?
ReplyDeleteGary, I was actually surprised by how bright they are, also I like how you can so easily point them in the direction you want to see.
DeleteI run in the dark all the time. usually early in the morning, and often (eeep!) not safely. these will definitely help me!
ReplyDeleteWow, THANKS! I think I NEED some! :)
ReplyDeleteI've gone with friends who use a flashlight or visor light. I had nothing, so I had to stick close to them. The knuckle lights would have been helpful. I wonder if you can wear them over gloves?
ReplyDeleteThese can definitely be worn over gloves, they have a really simple adjustable strap.
Deletegreat idea krista :)
DeleteI would love to use knuckle lights because I usually run after it gets dark and a lot of the streets are not well lit so I am always scared I am going to trip or hit a batch of ice.
ReplyDeleteI have a light I clip on my hat but these would work great too!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! What a neat concept!
ReplyDeleteI often run after dark in my neighborhood. There are street lights, but they are pretty dim. Knuckle Lights would be awesome!
I'm definitely curious to see how these are to run with.
ReplyDeleteI'd love these. I usually run with a headlamp at night, but it hasn't stopped me from twisted my ankle badly on a speed bump.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to try out knuckle lights. I love to run early in the morning but not alone when it is dark. These could help my problem!
ReplyDeleteI saw someone running with these tonight!
ReplyDeleteI am so afraid to run in the dark. i like running early in the morning. These will help... I would love to see a review on the reflector sleeves... those are pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteI need these! I hate running in the dark! I wear the brightest stuff I got!
ReplyDeleteThey look good. I have always used a headlamp as well but they seem pretty bright so would like to try them.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried these but I'd definitely be interested. I try to light myself up as much as I can and I like the idea of having the lights on my hands so I can wave my hands around if I feel I need to catch a driver's attention.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the Sweat Pink love!! I run at night so this would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love to run at night; these look awesome.
ReplyDeleteThese are an AMAZING idea! I HATE having anything on my head when I run! Definitely going to look into these..
ReplyDeleteRunning at night freaks me out a little bit, but these would def help!
ReplyDeleteThese would be great for night running during Ragnar :)
ReplyDeleteWould love to win these as I am not a fan of headlamps, but want to feel safer when running in the dark/dusk.
ReplyDeleteI've been looking for something like this!!
ReplyDeleteI would really feel safer with these lights!
ReplyDeleteCars could see me coming with these!
ReplyDeleteI do most of my running in the evening as I have young children and I can only run when they go to bed. I have had to be very cautious on all my runs. These knuckle lights would be a GREAT HELP. I currently wear a headlamp, but these would be fantastic as the headlamp sometimes falls off so I always have to wear a cap
ReplyDeleteI typically run with a head lamp and have always wanted to try these. Sometimes I'll take my headlamp and wrap it around my hands to see what it would be like... it would be much easier with the real thing.
ReplyDeleteI've seen chest strap lights... that could be interesting, harder on turns tho, i would imagine
I could definitely used Knuckle Lights! I'm a graduate student and the only time my husband and I can run together is after my classes, which usually get out around 7-9pm. We often have to run in the dark and these would be so helpful!
ReplyDeleteI like knuckle lights on facebook
ReplyDeleteI have run at night and I'm scared of tripping on rocks/or anything in the dark - knuckles lights would be awesome for this!
ReplyDeleteMy fiance hates when I run in the dark -- he worries too much. He does let me run in the dark when I am going with a group though and these knuckle lights would be perfect for that! When I marathon train in the summer we usually start at 6am or earlier. It is so dark those first miles so I would love to have a pair of knuckle lights to wear.
