The Marathon Playlist
I thought I'd share the playlist I have put together for the big day, a mix of old, new, and other random songs that bring back memories for me... basically anything to keep my mind off of how much my legs hurt.
1. "I Would Walk 500 Miles" by The Proclaimers
2. "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster the People
3. "Kids" by MGMT
4. "Runaway Train" by Soul Asylum
5. "One More Time" by Daft Punk

10. "Little Too Much" by Natasha Bedingfield
11. "Raise Your Glass" by P!nk
12. "Time of your Life" by Green Day
13. "We are Young" by Fun.
14. "Everybody Talks" by Neon Trees
15. "Good Time" by Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen
16. "Sail" by AWOLNATION
17. "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk
18. "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke
19. "Let her go" by Passenger
20. "I Need Your Love" by Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding
21. "Demons" by Imagine Dragons
22. "Cups (When I'm Gone)" by Anna Kendrick
23. "Safe and Sound" by Capital Cities
24. "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve
25. "Ready or Not" by Bridgit Mendler
26. "I Love It" by Icona Pop
27. "Feel this Moment" by Pitbull
28. "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons
29. "Anything Could Happen" by Ellie Goulding
30. "Wake Me Up" by Avicii
31. "Roar" by Katy Perry
32. "Never let Go" by Third Eye Blind
Having typed it all out, it appears that a lot of the names are quite fitting. It is approximately 2.5 hours worth of music so I will likely be listening to everything twice.
Do you have any favorites on your playlist that you'd like to share? What songs get you through the toughest part of a race?
